The situation in Lebanon is dire. The faithful are trying to resist leaving their country, while others were left with no other option but to depart. ACN is supporting projects that will encourage Christians to remain in Lebanon and keep the Faith alive.
One of the crucial projects to keep families deeply rooted in Lebanon is the support of Catholic schools. Fr. Youssef Nasr, General Secretary of the Association of Catholic Schools in Lebanon, said: “ACN is doing a good job, and helping more than 150 schools in Lebanon. I want to thank ACN, and all the benefactors. We have a difficult task on our hands, and we need your help to continue our mission”.
Mother Maguy Adabashi, General Superior of the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Sacrament, also sent a similar message to ACN: “Our urgent request to you at present is to help us continue our service and mission towards the neediest and poor Catholic students of Lebanon. If these financially poor students are not supported, they won’t be able to continue their education. In this we count on God’s help and on your support.”
Every donation – whatever the amount – will contribute to give these little children a better future and, at the same time, break this cycle of poverty into which they were born.Support the education of a poor Christian child for one school term.
